    PPA COVER

Support for Teachers:

  • Provide objective and accurate feedback to the teachers about the level of PE in their class

​

  • Assist in monitoring and recording the progress of individual pupils in accordance with school procedure

​

  • Promote positive values, attitudes and good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents in line with the school policy and encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own behaviour

​

  • To liaise with the PE co-ordinator (if applicable) in relation to resources for effective PE lessons

​

  • ​To be able to use a range of strategies to establish a purposeful learning environment and to promote good behaviour

      OUR GOALS

The main focus is to ensure that pupils reach their potential so that they reap the benefits of a positive encounter in P.E. Children will be coached to be more independent. 

​

 Rondo will coach a superior PE lesson to suit all year groups, with short and long-term outcome goals, helping schools gain - a national curriculum of 2 hours of physical education.

       INCLUSIVE 

Boys and girls are encouraged to mix when put into groups. Children that don't dominate in P.E. will be earmarked to forfill their maxium potential. 

 

At Rondo, Girls need to be empowered to believe they can achieve at the same rate as the boys.

      CREATIVE P.E.

 

Lesson to be creative inculding Mini games with mini challenges to keep children engross. Officiating and managing their own games will be encourge to minimize conflict. 

​

KS1 P.E. to be child friendly games. For example, ''Sheep tag'', ''Hechhog'', ''Messy bedrooms'', ''Fed the doggy'' etc
